Kuzukiri

Designed around the theme of traditional Japanese sweet called “Kuzukiri”, this room features a king size bed looking over a private garden and a hinoki bath with a floor-to-ceiling window opening into the garden. Preserved from the original structure, the room also features a “Tokonoma” (a traditional built-in display space) encasing contemporary objects that were custom designed or selected to highlight the theme.
